When preparing for tests, there are particular components that need to be studied to pass the understanding of content. However, there are basic skills and techniques that all students (People in general!) could apply to a test taking situation, to help them feel calm, confident and succeed.

S2W believes in providing students with essential skills for studying and test taking that they will apply to many academic and professional situations throughout their life.

All of our Main Courses (Narratives/Argument/Poetry/Informational) come with a test taking review at the end. We teach students how to apply what they have learned throughout the genre based course to a test taking situtation.

The most important skills that we foster and teach for test taking include the following:
